Maria Marshall's works centre on the invisible emotions in the body.  Childhood through an adult lens, political and familial, often using digital illusions highlighting the 'in' visible with disquieting scenarios to provoke thought.  Her recent works introduce "Thought," a multimedia character used to explore meditation and thought. Performative large scale blindfolded paintings exploring the kundalini energy associated to sexual intercourse, furthering Marshall's ongoing investigation into the invisible emotions in the body.
